Each time someone
asks me "where are you from?" I don't know what to say: my parents
are from Galicia (Spain), I was born in Mexico City and lived
there until I was ten years old, then we moved to Barcelona
(Spain) where I've been living more than seventeen years.
I studied Computer Science
at the UPC (Politechnical
University of Catalonia), more concretely at the FIB
(Computer Science Faculty), where I reached the Engineer degree
on Computer Science. I focused my learning on the following
areas: Software Engineering (not only in the classical paradigm
but also in the Object-Oriented paradigm), Database design,
Computer Graphics and Artificial Intelligence, area I chose
to make the final project needed to reach the Engineer degree.
In 2003 I got the PhD degree
at the Artificial
Intelligence Ph.D. Program at LSI
(Computer Science Department), which also belongs to the UPC.
During my PhD I was also Research
Assistant, assigned to the A-TEAM
european-funded project.
From September 1999 to
April 2003 I was PhD student at the Artificial
Intelligence Ph.D. Program at LSI
(Computer Science Department), which also belongs to the UPC.
I'm member
of the KEMLg
since 1999, and member of the Artificial
Intelligence Section since 2000. Those
days I was LSI Research Assistant, assigned to the A-TEAM
european-funded project.
From May 2003 to April
2005 I was postdoc researcher in
the Intelligent Systems Group
at Utrecht University.
Since May 2005 I am a
Postdoc Researcher again at the KEMLg. Since November 2005 I
am a "Ramon
y Cajal" Postdoc Researcher.
From May 2003 to April 2005
I was postdoc researcher in the Intelligent
Systems Group at Utrecht University.
I'm busy organizing...
