Summary

I am a computer scientist working on complex systems. My major field of applied research is human language. I am interested in the universal properties of language, the principles underlying these properties and the origins of language.

  !    "Viva Zapatero", a movie by Sabina Guzzanti. On censhorship in the media of "democratic" countries like Italy (remember that Italy is one of the partners of US to restore "democracy" in Iraq). Democracy is not only the right to vote.

  !    Do not let your studies being used by armies or any kind of armed group. Add the following sentence to your publications: "It is strictly prohibited to use, to investigate or develop, in a direct or indirect way, any of the scientific contributions of the author(s) contained in this work by any army or armed group in the world, for military purposes and for any other use which is against human rights or the environment, unless the written consent of all the persons in the world is obtained".

(one of the proposals of the "Stop military research campaign" by Fundació per la Pau).

Maybe useless in practice for countries like the US (e.g. no problem for violating the Ginebra agreements in Guantanamo), but very helpful for increasing the awareness about the problem of military research.

  !    The United States government has deceived the world concerning Saddam Hussein's threat. The Spanish government, the joker of the American emperor, has also deceived the Spanish people. The United States and Spain (among others) are responsible for the suffering of the people of Iraq.
