Affiliation & Research Interests

I work at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona since 2002.

My current position is Associate Professor (Titular de Universidad).

My teaching center is the Computer Science Scool (Facultat d'Informàtica de Barcelona).

I also belong to the Modeling, Visualization, Interaction, and Virtual Reality (Moving) research group.

I am interested in the application of Information Theory tools to Computer Graphics, especially for Viewpoint selection and data inspection.

I am also interested in GPU-based rendering, illustrative rendering of volumetric models, and volume data compression.
