Welcome to the website of the first workshop on mining of non-conventional data. This workshop is part of the bi-annual conference CAEPIA-TTIA'2009 organized by the Spanish Association for Artificial Intelligence. The workshop's official language is English and Spanish. This half-day workshop will be held at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática of the Universidad de Sevilla on November 13th, 2009. The main topics of this workshop include, but are not limited to:

  • Feature selection, Classification, Clustering, Association rule mining
  • Multimedia mining
  • Ambient Intelligence mining
  • Text mining
  • Spatial and Spatio-temporal mining
  • Data stream mining
  • Time series mining
  • Web mining
  • Applications in Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Medicine, or Biology

  • Notification of acceptance: 1 Sep. 2009 16 Sep. 2009
  • Camera-ready copy: 15 Sep. 2009 30 Sep. 2009
  • Workshop celebration: 13 Nov. 2009

Submission instructions

  • Paper submissions are due on July 5, 2009 July 20, 2009
  • Papers should be submitted electronically by email to marias [at] lsi.upc.edu or atrolor [at] upo.es
  • Papers should be limited to 8 pages
  • Papers should be written in Spanish or English
  • Papers should follow the instructions given by Springer, available on line at: http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html
