Josep L. Berral obtained his M.Sc degree (2007) in Computer Science (Ingenieria Superior en Informática) and his M.Sc degree (2008) in Computer Architecture from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, UPC. He is now a Ph.D student on the Department of Computer Architecture and also the Department of Software. He is working on applications of Machine Learning to Autonomic Computing with the Relational Algorithms, Complexity and Learning Group LARCA-UPC, and the Autonomic Research Group in the UPC High Performance Computing group. |

Current Research
I'm researching at the LARCA Research Group (Laboratori d'Algorísmica Relacional, Complexitat i Aprenentatge) at LSI and also cooperating with the HPC (High Performance Computing Group) at DAC. My current research work focuses on applications of data mining and learning to energy-efficient computing (green computing) and autonomic computing, which requires cross-disciplinary studies. More information can be found at LARCA LSI and HPC DAC. |
