About Me

I received the Engineering degree in Computer Science and the Master’s degree in Computing from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia - UPC (Spain) in 2007. I earned the PhD in Computing from the same university in 2013. After that, I spent two years as a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellow at the Visual Computing group of the CRS4 (Italy). Currently, I work as an assistant professor at the University of Vic. My research is mainly focused on the visualization of volumetric data sets, but my knowledge in computer graphics also includes, among others, polygonal modeling and rendering, GPU and parallel processing, design of graphical interfaces and development of applications for virtual reality environments and stereo vision.
