Welcome to my home page
I am currently a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Toronto. I am also a member of the GMC and GRES-UOC research groups and a lecturer at the UOC (Open University of Catalonia) where I coordinate part of the software engineering area, including the courses of software engineering, distributed and component-based software engineering and the software engineering postgraduate program.
Previously, I was a visiting scholar at the Politecnico di Milano , an associate lecturer at the EUNCET and at the EUPMt and worked as an analyst/programmer in a private company.
I received a Ph.D. in Computer Science (with European Mention) in November 2006 from the Technical University of Catalonia (Software program, LSI Department ) in Barcelona. The title of the thesis was: "Incremental Integrity Checking in UML/OCL Conceptual Schemas"
