Foreign students willing to enroll the Ph.D. program and not belonging to the European Union will have to:

a) Request a STUDENT visa at the Spanish Embassy or Consulate in their country

b) After the arrival to Spain, The International Relations Office at the UPC (http://www.upc.es/ari/english/home/home.htm) will provide the documents required to obtain the student residence permit. It is important that the student has a STUDENT visa and her/his passport

c) For obtaining a student residence permit it is necessary to provide the following documents:
 

• Bank account information
• Certificate issued by the UPC indicating the estimated period of residence in Spain
• ID pictures
• Valid passport
• Student VISA issued at the country of origin
