He got a degree in engineering degree in computing from Granada University (Spain). She enjoyed an Erasmus stay at Technological University of Darmstadt (Germany), where he developed his Thesis Ant Colony Optimization Algorithms for Multi-Objective Combinatorial Problems, supervised by Thomas Stützle and Luis Paquete.

He is currently working at the School of the Built Environment de Napier University, in Edinburgh (UK) in optimal energy and quality management in water distribution networks under the supervision of Prasad Tumula and Ben Paechter. He is also a member of the Centre for Emergent Computing. He is been invited by Christian Blum form the ALBCOM Research Group. He arrived at LSI on January 1st and leaves on February, 29th.

Professor Kirousis works at Patras University (Greece). He is being invited by professor Josep Díaz, ALBCOM Research Group. He will arrive on February 1st and will remain with us until June 30th.
