Evolang 2008, the 7th International Congress about Language Evolution
The 7th International Congress about Language Evolution will be held at the beginning of March. That will take place in Barcelona. It is defined as a triple-event. There is a congress, a workshop on communication in big apes and a museum evening at CosmoCaixa with speakers both from the congress and the workshop like, for example: Gary Marcus, Friedemann Pulvermüller and David Premack.
The enrolment for the Congress and the workshop has already started so you can contact the organization in order to ensure you are taking part on them.
The museum evening is a free entrance activity; however there are limited seats so remember to be on time and to identify you in the reception desk.
This event is a good choice for FIB students because they'll improve their knowledge on the subject and they will get 1 free choice credit!
