Clustering is related with one of the most basic brain activities. 
Finding formal processes to emulate this human activity has been the 
object of different disciplines along the history, like Artificial 
Intelligence or Statistics. In the seminar an overview of the different 
approaches to the clustering problem will be provided. Pros and cons 
as well as technical hypothesis required for a rigorous application 
of the different techniques will be discussed. Also, some tools for 
a proper interpretation of the results  will be presented.
